Welcome to the first edition of our quarterly newsletter to connect and inform people who want to help secure a healthy future for all in the Fox Valley region.
Many people in our region care deeply about joining together with others to make a difference, to make change happen, or to make their community a better place for future generations. There are ideas and actions bubbling up all over. Through this newsletter we hope to capture and connect those bubbles, in order to harness the energy being produced for the common good.
It's hard to believe that it's been a whole year since we filed Articles of Incorporation for Sustainable Fox Valley, Inc. with the State of Wisconsin. A lot of organizational work has gone into getting us to where we are now - ready to provide a structure and/or resources to help community partners succeed with their projects, information sharing, policy advocacy and more. Sustainable Fox Valley, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt charitable organization with a mission to build the capacity of individuals and organizations to improve the long-term social, economic and environmental health of the Fox Valley region. We'll be spending much of the rest of the year planning how we will do this. Let us know what you're thinking and what you'd like to do - we're here for you!
